Connecting Batteries: - In Series: Connecting batteries in series doubles the voltage while maintaining the same capacity (amp hours). Connect the positive terminal of the first battery to the negative terminal of the second one. The remaining positive terminal connects to the power lead of your device, and the remaining negative terminal connects to the ground of your application. - In Parallel: Connecting batteries in parallel doubles the capacity (amp hours) while maintaining the same voltage. Connect the positive terminals of both batteries together and do the same with the negative terminals. Then, connect your application to the positive and negative terminals of the first battery.
