Maintenance Free Yuasa AGM batteries do not require the addition of water, but periodic charging is necessary when they are not in use. They utilize advanced lead-calcium technology, which maintains its specific gravity over three times longer than conventional lead antimony batteries. The Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) separators are designed to absorb electrolyte, ensuring that the battery is nonspillable. The valve regulated design eliminates water loss and the need for refilling.

Bottle Supplied (BS) refers to the fact that dry AGM batteries are shipped with the electrolyte stored in a plastic container. The end user must then fill the battery with the electrolyte from the container when it is ready to be activated.
